Meta App Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to Platform Data processed through the JEMM Meta app for Instagram business integrations, including Instagram Direct messaging and comment management features used in our internal CRM.

2. Data Controller

The data controller is the sole proprietor (FOP) operating JEMM and determining the purposes and means of processing Platform Data received from Meta.

3. Platform Data We Process

  • Instagram business account identifiers and profile information (for connected accounts).
  • Instagram user identifiers/usernames for people who message or comment.
  • Message and comment content, timestamps, and related conversation metadata.
  • Message reactions, read states, and delivery status data.
  • Media context metadata (for example permalink/media type) when needed to display comment context.
  • Access tokens for connected Instagram business accounts.

4. Purposes of Processing

  • Provide a human-operated support inbox for Instagram Direct and comments.
  • Allow authorized staff to respond to customer messages and comments.
  • Maintain conversation history and order-support context in our internal CRM.
  • Maintain security, reliability, and troubleshooting for webhook and messaging operations.

We do not sell Platform Data and do not use it for unrelated advertising purposes.

5. Service Providers (Processors)

We use processors that may access Platform Data on our behalf:

  • Supabase, Inc. (cloud database and backend processing) - United States.
  • Vercel Inc. (application hosting and server runtime) - United States.

6. Retention

We retain Platform Data only as long as necessary for customer support and operational purposes, and generally no longer than 3 years after the last relevant interaction, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Security

  • Transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Restricted access to internal CRM by authorized personnel only.
  • Operational logging and security controls for backend infrastructure.

8. User Rights and Requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
